How to reconstitute a vial

1. Warm up. Let the vial and the BAC water reach room temperature.
2. Clean. Wipe both rubber stoppers with an alcohol wipe and let them dry.
3. Draw. Draw up the BAC water volume from the table with a fresh sterile syringe.
4. Add slowly. Let the water run down the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the powder.
5. Swirl, don't shake. Roll the vial gently until the liquid is clear, then label it with the date.

Pens arrive pre-dissolved, so these steps are for vials only. The concentration is printed on the pen label.

Storage after reconstitution

• Keep mixed vials and opened pens in the fridge at 2–8°C.
• Use a mixed vial within about 4 weeks unless the label says otherwise.
• Don't freeze a mixed vial, and keep it out of direct light.
• Throw it away if the liquid turns cloudy or has particles in it. KLOW and GLOW blends are meant to be blue.
